Dallas Stain Seminar Attracts 50 Attendees

Updated: May 11, 2022

Fabriclean Supply of Dallas hosted 50 attendees from Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas at the April 23 Stain Seminar, presented by A.L. Wilson Chemical, FabriClean Supply and SDA. The attendees from 23 different drycleaning plants learned the latest and safest techniques for processing today’s garments.

Chris Patten and Jeff “The Stain Wizard” Schwarz, from A.L. Wilson Chemical Co., demonstrated how to remove stubborn stains and how to effectively use bleaches on a live spotting board. Flor Castillo of Flora's Drycleaners, in Sierra Vista, Arizona, taught the Spanish/bilingual portion of the seminar. Flor is also the current President of the Western States Drycleaners and Launderers Association.

“It was really great to see new owners and familiar faces come out for this class,” said Jeff Schwarz.” Showing people how using the right tools can make all the difference between success or ruining a garment. When you increase your quality and efficiency, you can increase your profits. Some people will tell you it takes several steps to remove a combination stain (like mustard), but we can do it in one. Jeff further commented, “Guided experience is the best teacher. I think people learned a lot of useful information to take back to their stores and put into practice.”

A very special THANK YOU to The entire staff at FabriClean Supply for hosting this event.

A dozen team members from FabriClean gave up part of their weekend to help make this a real success and greet attendees. As always, a heartfelt thank you to Jeff, Chris and Flor for teaching and sharing their knowledge so others can be successful.
